dc.description.abstractEl objetivo de la investigación fue definir los determinantes de la estructura de capital de las empresas del sector turismo en Colombia. En el análisis se evaluó la significancia de las variables: Tamaño de la empresa, rentabilidad, tangibilidad, crecimiento de la compañía, nivel de liquidez, estructura de gastos, nivel de riesgo, carga impositiva y año de crisis sobre la estructura de capital de las empresas del sector turismo. Finalmente, los resultados fueron comparados con las teorías de pecking order y trade off.spa

dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of the investigation was to define the determinants of the capital structure of companies in the tourism sector in Colombia. In the analysis, the significance of the following variables were evaluated: Company size, profitability, tangibility, company growth, liquidity level, expense structure, risk level, tax burden and year of crisis, as determinants of the capital structure of companies in the tourism sector. Finally, the results were compared with the pecking order theory and the trade off theory.spa
