| spa |

A main topic of this debate is related to the important need of making strong decisions and changes in the structure of the financial sector in order to evade high systematic risks for global economies. Some studies had guided the governments to make regulations about the subject. Such as the Glass- Steagall Act established in 1933, after 1929 crisis, which forbade banks to act as brokers. This is known as the most controversial regulation on the matter, it split big banking institutions into commercial banks and investment banks.
