Abstract
La mayoría de las empresas que invierten en Colombia han tenido mucho éxito en cuanto al cumplimiento de los objetivos trazados. El país, como este documento intentará mostrar, cuenta con características muy atractivas que lo convierten en un país muy atractivo para los inversores internacionales. Como característica general, la economía colombiana es una de las pocas que
se ha defendido contra la crisis financiera internacional. Este aspecto es muy apreciado por los inversores que buscan estabilidad económica, así como mantener tasas de crecimiento del PIB como señal de una economía saludable. Este documento evidenciará cómo los diferentes beneficios ofrecidos por el gobierno colombiano, así como un entorno ideal orientado hacia el desarrollo empresarial y privado, se han convertido en un factor decisivo para la atracción de los flujos de IED, que finalmente generan empleos y mejoran muchos aspectos de la economía local, mientras que las corporaciones extranjeras también obtienen ganancias.

has defended itself against the international financial crisis. This aspect is highly regarded by investors who look for economical stability, as well as maintained GDP growth rates as a signal of a healthy economy. This paper will evidence how the different benefits offered by the Colombian government, as well as an ideal environment oriented towards business and private development has actually become a decisive factor towards the attraction of FDI flows, which eventually turn out to generate jobs, and improve many aspects of the local economy, while the foreign corporations make a profit too.
