Revisión de la literatura de empresas familiares : una perspectiva financiera
Abstract
Las empresas familiares son la estructura organizacional más difundida en el mundo inclusive en las economías más desarrolladas. Por ello, siempre han sido un objeto de estudio interesante para las distintas áreas de la administración. Sin embargo, muchas de ellas trabajan de forma aislada y el conocimiento no se ha integrado suficientemente. En este artículo facilitamos esa integración mediante una revisión de la literatura de empresas familiares desde la perspectiva financiera, ordenando más de 30 años de avances y presentando una agenda de investigación comprehensiva desde esta perspectiva.
Abstract
Family firms are the most common organizational structure in the world, even in developed economies.Therefore, they have been an interesting object of study within the different areas related to business research. Most of the work in these areas, however, has occurred independently and the resulting knowledge has not been fully integrated. The aim of this paper is to contribute towards this integration by undertaking a thorough review of existing literature on family business from a financial perspective; organizing more than 30 years of research within the field, and offering a comprehensive research agenda from this perspective.
