dc.description.abstractEl año 2019 dio cuenta de los esfuerzos y compromisos del grupo de investigación por atender las apuestas estratégicas planteadas por el CESA al 2020. El logro a resaltar es la categorización como A1 del Grupo en Estudios de Administración (GEA) en Colciencias, la categoría más alta que otorga dicha entidad a los grupos de investigación de todo el país. Un logro que reconoce el esfuerzo del GEA desde su fundación. En 2019 estaban registrados 6.923 grupos de investigación, de los cuales 5.589 fueron reconocidos y de estos solo 717, menos del 12,8%, en la categoría más alta (A1), o como se conoce comúnmente, como grupos de referencia para todas las áreas de conocimiento. En administración y afines, solo 268 grupos fueron categorizados y reconocidos, y de estos tan solo 34 son A1. Esto significa que a pesar de ser la profesión más popular del país, son muy pocas las instituciones que hacen investigación seria en esta área.spa
